It’s time to share our favorite Maine and New England wedding photos from 2021! This blog post is incredibly overdue, as it is almost July, and we are well into our 2022 wedding season. We were a little nervous heading into our 2021 wedding season because, after all of the 2020 postponements and couples who had held off on planning a wedding, it would be one of the biggest wedding seasons we’ve had in the past 12 years. With such a big season, the blog got pushed aside as I prioritized getting our clients their photos as quickly as possible. I worried nobody would care to see this post so far into 2022, but since it’s always my favorite post to share every year, I had to do it.
2021 was an exciting one! We started with a Millinocket wedding during a blizzard the first weekend of January. We returned to many favorite spots like Fuller Gardens, The Contented Sole, western Maine, Bar Harbor, and Acadia National Park. We finally got to photograph weddings in three of our favorite spots in Maine: Gouldsboro, Aragosta in Deer Isle, and Lubec! And we photographed a wedding on our third of the five Cranberry Isles: Sutton Island. (We photographed a wedding on Great Cranberry Island in 2013 and Isleford in 2020).
We repeatedly left the state for weddings in North Hampton, Rye, and Hopkinton, New Hampshire. We also headed to our beloved Vermont for a wedding at West Mountain Inn.
Finally, we photographed in some new spots that we’d love to return to, like Orr’s Island and Oxbow Beer Garden.
I’ve always said we get the best couples, and 2021 drove that home. We’re so thankful for all the people on this blog.
Next week, this blog will return to 2022, but today, let’s look back at 2021. Cheers!
