Rochelle’s Bangor Senior Portraits

Rochelle is good friends with another senior I photographed, Ellen. After seeing Ellen's senior portraits that I photographed in nearby Holden, she reached out to see if I could photograph her Bangor senior portraits. Ellen and Rochelle are members of the John Bapst class of 2011, so it was so fun to photograph them!

We met up in downtown Bangor at the Bangor Public Library. It's one of the most beautiful buildings in Bangor, with a pretty epic staircase leading up to it. I thought of it instantly when Rochelle said she wanted some photos around downtown. If you've never visited, I highly recommend taking a trip the next time you're in Bangor. Maybe borrow some Stephen King books while you're there?

From the library, we headed to a nearby field to get some portraits of Rochelle walking among the grass at sunset. A very cool weather-worn building nearby added a pretty pop of green to the background of some of our images. I always love having two contrasting locations for portrait sessions, especially since Maine is full of so many amazing spots.

Have the best senior year, Rochelle! Here are my favorite photos from our time together.
