Kary and Mike's Ogunquit, Maine engagement photos had to be rescheduled multiple times due to travel restrictions, etc., so I was thrilled when we ended up with such a perfect evening!
We met up on the Marginal Way to grab some photos on the rocky cliffs and got lucky with a sailboat hanging out in the background for most of the photos—we even joked that we'd get to play "Where's Waldo?" with it while looking through the images. In an email, Kary mentioned that she was a sucker for beach roses, so I was so excited to find a perfect little spot with them while Joel and I walked the path earlier in the day. Kary and Mike were up for anything, including walking barefoot on the cliffs. They also went into the water as the cliffs crashed around their legs. Mike even busted out some spontaneous dance moves at one point! They're a photographer's dream couple.
We wrapped things up with a perfect pastel sky over Ogunquit Beach. I'm counting the days until we hang out with them again in September. Their big wedding plans have changed to a small backyard event this year and a massive party next year, and while I wish they hadn't had to change their plans, I'm thrilled that we get to spend not one but two more days with them.
