Stonington, Maine is a delightful little town that is a bit of a hidden gem. My father had visited a lot as a kid, and once, when I was discussing some of my favorite coastal Maine towns, he suggested I visit.
Stonington is only over an hour from our house, but I never explored it until this summer with one of my best friends until this summer. I fell in love with the soft coastal colors, the beautiful harbor, the fluffy cat that always greets me when I come for a visit (pictured below!), and the fact that Stonington is much quieter than other coastal Maine towns in the summertime.
I also love fall- it's my favorite season. However, looking at these images makes me miss summer weather and all of the pretty shoots we had to do this year.
I was thrilled when I heard that one of our wedding couples from last year was visiting the area, and I would get to photograph them there. We had a blast with Mallory and Chris last year at the Bar Harbor Club, and I couldn't wait to catch up! Mallory's brother and sister-in-law, Harrison and Helen, tagged along and even jumped in front of the camera for a few.
