Rachel and Derek contacted us about two and a half weeks before their wedding in Salisbury, Massachusetts. Their original photographer had to back out due to illness, and they were nervously trying to find a replacement. While we wish their original photographer had been well enough to photograph the day, we were happy to step in. Rachel and Derek were an absolute joy to work with. I wish we had gotten to know them sooner so that we could have spent more time with them.
Rachel got ready in her childhood bedroom. There were photos from every part of her life covering the walls, which added something to the day. Maybe one of these will be added to the collection! They married at The Meadow at Red Ridge Farm in nearby Salisbury, Mass surrounded by friends, family, and even a few cows. It started to pour during their wedding ceremony, and instead of becoming upset or running for the tent, these two laughed it off and embraced it. It made me love them that much more.
