I met up with Natalie recently for her senior portraits at a stunning farm in Hampden, Maine. Natalie is my cousin. I used to babysit her when she was a baby, so when I got the call to do her senior portraits, I had to do the math a few times. She couldn't possibly be that old. I couldn't possibly be that old. Where did the time go!?
She was graduating from Mattanawcook Academy in Lincoln, Maine, which also happens to be my alma mater. Go Lynx! I'm incredibly jealous because she was able to play soccer during her time at M.A. Unfortunately, when I moved to Lincoln from Bangor, they didn't offer soccer, so my dreams of being the next Mia Hamm were gone.
Natalie has turned into such an intelligent, cool, and confident woman. She is always so thoughtful and engaged anytime I see her. It's rare and so wonderful. I was honored that she wanted me to do her photos. It says a lot when someone trusts you enough to photograph them, especially someone who is a bit shy. She also has really great hair. Bonus!
Here are my favorites from our time spent together roaming the farm.
