Today, I'm sharing some favorites from Wes and Jackie's fall elopement in Acadia National Park. After months of chatting back and forth, I was so excited to meet Jackie and Wes. They were so excited but also pretty laid-back about everything. We seemed to have much in common, including an enormous love for our dogs and an appreciation for local craft beer. Jackie and Wes named their dog Barley after the ingredient that goes in beer. We were also really excited to meet Barley, their cute little guy. He may have stolen the spotlight in a few of the photos below.
We started meeting them at the Harborside Hotel in downtown Bar Harbor in the afternoon. From there, we headed into the park. Jackie and Wes planned the perfect balance of family and private time for their elopement in Acadia National Park. We stopped at Sand Beach for photos with Barley and them, met their families at Otter Point for the ceremony and family photos, and then said goodbye to everyone as we headed to Jordan Pond for some pictures of the two of them at sunset. It was the perfect October day, and I miss those fall colors terribly.
On to the photos!
