I’m excited to finally share Leslie and Rob’s Lubec, Maine wedding on the blog.
Leslie and Rob have known each other since high school. After experiencing a lot of life together as friends, they finally got together and thought, why don’t we get married!? Initially, they thought they’d sign the paperwork and call it official alone, but Rob decided he wanted his parents present. They asked themselves where they could go and who they could get to come. Leslie’s brother has an A-frame in Perry, Maine, which got Leslie’s mind working. They knew they could get ready at her brother’s and then head somewhere else for the ceremony and dinner with their small group of friends and family. Neither had ever been to Lubec, Maine, so why not?
After an incredibly emotional ceremony at an Airbnb they had rented for everyone, we headed to The Inn on the Wharf for dinner. We arrived just in time for sunset, stunning with its warm orange and red tones. I convinced Leslie and Rob to grab a few photos before they headed inside, and I’m glad they were up for it because this little area overlooking the fishing boats is one of my favorites. I can’t help but photograph it every time Joel and I visit Lubec.
After our time ended, Leslie and Rob insisted on us joining them for dinner. So we sat with their family, recommending all our favorite spots to visit on their way back through Maine. It was the penultimate wedding of the season, and I’m so happy we got to spend it with them in one of our favorite places.
