After finalizing plans for their main celebration at 16 Bay View, Jen and Austin decided to add a more intimate church ceremony on the Thursday before the big day. They reached out to see if I was free, and I was excited to spend the evening with the two of them and their immediate families.
The ceremony occurred at Our Lady of Good Hope in Camden and was officiated by Deacon Robert Cleveland. Despite its brevity, the ceremony was lovely and so important to those in attendance. After recessing out of the church, Jen and Austin were greeted with warm hugs and kisses from their family, and both of their moms teared up.
Following the ceremony, we snapped a handful of family photos in front of the church. We also captured a few portraits of Jen and Austin in the soft twilight. The subtle addition of fog added a unique touch to the soft lighting. The forecast for Saturday was ominous, so we were thrilled to get some photos outside while it was still dry.
We'll be sharing the highlights from their big Saturday wedding soon. For now, here are some favorite photos from Jen and Austin's Camden, Maine wedding ceremony. It's rare to document multiple ceremonies with the same couple. I love getting to share a glimpse into their nuptials' quieter, more intimate side.
