Alex and Peter decided to do their engagement photos in Bristol, Maine, specifically at Peter's family's summer home, which is a short drive from Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. Let me tell you something ... It was FREEZING. We scheduled their session for one of the two days they'd be in Maine, and when the time came, it became clear that both days were going to be 15-25 degrees. Usually, we would reschedule for a warmer day, but their tight schedule forced us to push through. I'm so glad we did because while we were inside trying to warm up a bit, we got some of my favorite photos from the entire session. You'll see those below.
Alex and Peter are marrying at the 1812 Farm this September, and we can't wait! They also booked us for a portrait session after the wedding so that they could focus on friends and family on the wedding day, and then dress back up, feeling no stress for portraits. It's rare for us to be able to focus purely on the moments of the wedding day and then have a full two hours another day for portraits. Oh, the possibilities!
Can't wait for September!
