We're so excited to share our best Maine wedding photos from 2018 and a few from Atlanta.
Every year, this blog post is the one we're most excited to do. It's also the most challenging. After wedding season has ended and we've had a few months off, it's always so fun looking back at all the photos we created for our clients. Some of our favorites are big moments like the first kiss or dance. Other favorites are smaller moments like straightening a tie or retouching makeup. All of these moments again prove to us that we have the best clients in the world.
In 2018, we revisited some of our favorite places for Maine weddings-- Peaks Island, Acadia National Park, Bristol, and Northport. We also explored new places like Boothbay Harbor, Biddeford Pool, Aroostook County, and Atlanta, Georgia.
The stunning venues we worked at included The Lakeside Barn at Duck Puddle Campground, Maine Lakeside Cabins, Linekin Bay Resort, The Harbor View at Jones Landing, Bar Harbor Club, The Abenakee Club, The 1812 Farm, The Optimist. There were also some lighthouses and private estates. Maine offers so many perfect backdrops. We're so lucky to live and work here!
This year, we had some new and awesome experiences. The first was hiking with one of our couples after the ceremony to enjoy the sunset. The second involved hanging (safely) out of a jeep to photograph a couple driving a classic Thunderbird through Acadia National Park.
The photos we created last year included laughter, wild dance moves, moving toasts, happy tears, and quiet pre-ceremony moments.
As we prepare to start the 2019 wedding season this month, we can only hope it's as amazing as last year's.
In no particular order, here are our best wedding photos from 2018!
