Jill & Dave’s Hidden Pond Wedding in Kennebunkport Maine

Jill and Dave are incredibly easygoing. From the beginning, they made it clear that the goal for their Hidden Pond wedding in Kennebunkport, Maine was to have a fun and relaxed time with their family and friends, especially their kids. They were so willing to go with the flow that there wasn't one moment of stress the entire day. They hadn't even planned on doing a first dance, but their incredible wedding band, HiFi, convinced them to at the last minute. It was perfect and became one of my favorite moments of the day.

Another favorite moment occurred during their wedding ceremony. Dave poked a little fun at Jill's proclivity to make common sayings her own. For example, once Jill was attending a bachelorette party and, while telling Dave about the plans for the evening, kept saying, "it's a marathon, not a race" instead of "it's a marathon, not a sprint." Dave laughed, pointing out that a marathon IS a race, and it became one of the things he loved most about her.
