Sarah is from Kansas but wanted a different landscape for her senior portraits. When she reached out to me, I was so excited to be the one chosen to photograph them. She explained that there were a few go-to options in Kansas, but none felt right to her. She wanted trees, mountains, and water. Acadia National Park was the setting she was looking for.
After chatting about location options and how much scenery we could fit in during our two hours together, Sarah decided on a mix of ocean, mountain, and pond. When the day finally arrived, I had so much fun wandering Seal Harbor Beach, Jordan Pond, and Cadillac Mountain with Sarah, her mom, and her best friend. As we moved from location to location, we discussed the sports Sarah plays, what she does for fun, and what she wants to do after high school. We even talked about tornadoes because when someone is from Kansas, how can you not?
