In April, my wedding season started with Kendall and Leif's Portland, Maine city hall wedding. They had planned a different wedding later in the year, but Kendall's sister found out she'd be having a baby around that time, so they decided to move things up. Kendall explained that her sister was one of the few people she absolutely could not get married without. I think it worked out because the day was beautiful, and we got to visit the city hall when all the cherry blossoms were in bloom! These two were an absolute joy to be around, and their small group of friends and family was just as fantastic.
I met them at a private residence in Cape Elizabeth before heading to Kettle Cove for some portraits. It had looked like it was going to rain for days, but the sun came out as soon as we got by the water. After portraits, it was off to city hall for the ceremony and family photos (we were even greeted outside by the Mayor!). We finished the evening with an intimate dinner at Grace Restaurant.
Here are some favorites for the day. Spring was definitely in the air!
