I'm excited to share some images from Amy and Nick's Hardy Farm Wedding in Fryeburg, Maine today! When I shared their engagement session, I mentioned that Amy and I had spent much time playing together as kids before her family moved away. My parents and her parents were very good friends. So, hearing from her all these years later when she inquired about wedding photography was a little surreal. Are we old enough to be married now!?
Being there on her wedding day, surrounded by her family, felt really special as she married Nick. I never expected to see her again in person after so many years, let alone be her wedding photographer, so it was an incredible experience. I even managed to catch up with some of my dad's other friends I hadn't seen in years. What a reunion!
Funny thing, Nick and Amy actually dated in junior high, broke up, and wound up back together years later. I guess Amy has a way of drawing people back to her.
