It’s time to share our best Maine portraits and engagement photos from 2020!
I think we can all agree that 2020 was a very trying year. Our little business saw so many cancellations and postponements due to Covid-19, and while it was a bit stressful, we were so grateful to be able to adapt and photograph as many people as possible from a safe distance. We were incredibly lucky to have clients who were just as cautious as we were staying at home, wearing masks, going through mass amounts of hand sanitizer, and getting tested before our sessions.
We were still able to travel around the state photographing portraits in Bristol, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, Ogunquit, Orono, Palermo, and twice in our hometown of Orrington.
Having such a quiet season enabled us to fit in some sessions we wouldn’t have been able to otherwise, like one with Alexis and her childhood dog before she passed away. I felt honored to get to document that time with them together. I also got to photograph Chloe’s senior portraits with her ducks!
2020 allowed Joel and me to spend our free time exploring more of our beautiful state, which was so refreshing and a wonderful reminder of how lucky we are to live and work here.
So, here are our best Maine portraits and engagement photos that we created in 2020. While there were very few sessions, there was a lot of happiness and so many beautiful moments.
