Today, I’m sharing photos from Ross and Kara’s wedding at the Big Moose Inn in Millinocket, Maine. I went to high school with Kara, and she has modeled for me in the past. A few years ago, I convinced her and Ross to model for a styled wedding. I was thrilled when they got engaged in real life and asked us to be their photographers.
They chose to marry in Millinocket, Maine, not too far from Mount Katahdin. They also happened to pick a weekend during peak foliage in northern Maine.
I still can’t get over how much fun this day was. We rode down bumpy logging roads to all the stunning locations they had picked out for portraits, and I even got to ride in a seaplane for the first time in my life! Seeing the foliage (and a moose!) from above was an amazing experience. Thank you, Kara and Ross!
Keep an eye out for their cake- my favorite of the year! Mount Katahdin inspires half of the cake, and the other half is inspired by Cadillac Mountain, where they got engaged.
