Our Favorite Maine Engagement Photos of 2019

2020 is here, so it's time to share our favorite Maine engagement photos we created in 2019! Our couples are the best, indeed. I always tell myself that the next season couldn't be as good as the previous one, but we've been doing this for ten years, and our couples continue proving me wrong.

The wedding day can be a bit of a whirlwind, so I'm always so excited when our couples decide to book an engagement session because we get to spend time with them in a more relaxed setting. This year, in addition to engagement sessions, we got to create portraits of one of our 2018 couples who were back in Maine for a visit. We also got to photograph one of our couples the day after their wedding when they were still blissfully tired. These sessions were all so different because some of our couples were meeting us for the first time, while others felt like we were picking up where we left off. I'm such a fan of both.

Some sessions occurred on cold spring days before the trees filled out for the year, some were on blazing hot summer days, and a couple took place on warm fall days when the foliage had reached its prettiest peak.

So, here are our favorite Maine engagement photos from 2019. We traveled around this beautiful state, photographing at Acadia National Park, Spring Point Ledge Light in Portland, Pemaquid Point Lighthouse in Bristol, Kettle Cove in Cape Elizabeth, Belfast, and one of our favorite breweries —Oxbow Brewing.

We'll be sharing our favorite wedding photos from 2019 later this week, so keep an eye out for those!
