Kary and Mike’s Ogunquit, Maine engagement photos had to be rescheduled multiple times due to travel restrictions, etc., so I was thrilled when we ended up with such a perfect evening!
We met up on the Marginal Way to grab some photos on the rocky cliffs, and were blessed with a sailboat hanging out in the background for most of the photos—we even joked that we’d get to play “Where’s Waldo?” with it while looking through the images. Kary had mentioned in an email that she was a sucker for beach roses, so I was so excited to find a perfect little spot with them while Joel and I walked the path earlier in the day.
Kary and Mike were up for anything including walking barefoot far out on the cliffs and heading into the water as the cliffs crashed up around their legs. Mike even busted out some spontaneous dance moves at one point! They’re a photographer’s dream couple.
We wrapped things up with a perfect pastel sky over Ogunquit Beach. I’m already counting down the days until we get to hang out with them again in September. Their big wedding plans have changed to a small backyard event this year and a bigger party next year, and while I wish they hadn’t had to change their plans, I’m very happy that we get to spend not one, but two more days with them.
