Abby and Alex's winter wedding in Northport, Maine took place nine days before Christmas. I know what you're thinking... A Christmas wedding in Maine? It must've looked like a winter wonderland! Well, we didn't get any snow, but the coziness of their festive decor more than made up for it. There aren't a lot of winter weddings in Maine, so it's always exhilarating when we get to photograph one. These two were up for anything, including venturing out in freezing temperatures for some portraits at sunset. Fun fact, there was a blizzard the day after their wedding, so we lucked out with the weather. It would have been terrible if their friends and family had to travel in the storm.
Abby and Alex both had the biggest smiles all day, and they cared more about each other and everyone else than they did themselves. They were truly one of the sweetest couples we've ever photographed. I feel like I can still hear Abby's adorable giggle.
Here are some favorites! Keep an eye out for the kid breakdancing at the reception. He was very entertaining to photograph!
