Noelle and TJ's New England Outdoor Center wedding in Millinocket, Maine occurred on a gorgeous summer day. I grew up in northern Maine (shoutout to Lincoln!), so while I'm very familiar with Millinocket, I had never been to the NEOC. It's incredibly private, on the water, and there are plenty of cabins for your friends and family to rent out so that everyone can be together for the entire weekend to celebrate. It's also beautiful. I mean, with views of Mount Katahdin, how can you complain!?
While Noelle and TJ were getting ready with their wedding parties, guests could kayak, canoe, and paddleboard. Having a venue that provides activities like this for your guest adds to the experience and gives them something to do during downtime. There's also a restaurant on the property, so guests only need to leave if they want to explore more. There's some great hiking in that area, though, so if you're there for a few days, I recommend checking out a trail or two.
After dinner and toasts, we slipped back out to grab some portraits during golden hour. Watching the sunset over Mount Katahdin is unreal, especially when the sunset is as striking as the one Noelle and TJ had on their wedding day. You'll really see what I mean in the final photo in this post.
Here are some of my favorites from the day!
