Camden, Rockland, and Midcoast Maine Weddings and Elopements

Morgan and Gabe met at a friend's barbecue, where sparks flew as they had a fun disagreement over whether a Dark N' Stormy was a summer drink or a winter drink. Years later, their Boothbay Harbor, Maine wedding took place on a warm August day at Linekin Bay Resort in front of many friends and family. I don't know who said a Dark N' Stormy was a summer drink, but they were the clear winner as the drink was passed around as their signature cocktail.

This day was so special because there was a level of connection between Morgan, Gabe, and their guests that we don't always see. Tears flowed freely, hugs were held tighter and longer--neither party wanting to pull away first. The toasts were incredibly emotional. Morgan's little sister talked about how she had always wanted to be like Morgan, and I wasn't at all surprised. I had seen the way she laughed and cried as her sister got ready to walk down the aisle.
