Meghan and Daniel’s Claremont Hotel Southwest Harbor wedding started with the foggiest morning. It was damp and a little bit chilly, but the sun would soon come out in full force. Meghan laughed about it and said to Daniel, “this is perfect! You wanted overcast, and I wanted sun. So we got some of both!”
When we met up with these two for a beer a few months before their wedding, they had just returned from their first wedding in Lebanon, which sounded incredible! They wanted their second wedding to be an entirely different experience for their guests, and they delivered in a big way. The day was relaxed and full of Maine touches—everything from blueberry wine and lobster to a tour of Acadia National Park. However, nobody could plan the amazing coastal sunset that we were gifted.
My favorite part of the entire day was when Daniel surprised Meghan with a ring he had designed for her during the first look. Meghan didn’t think it would be ready until after the wedding, and her reaction was perfect. You’ll see below!
Here are some favorites from the day!
