Meggan and Lauren traveled up from the south for their engagement photos in Acadia National Park.
Meggan contacted me a few weeks before they planned to head to Bar Harbor for a few days to celebrate their engagement. They were hoping for a morning session so that we could enjoy the beauty of Acadia National Park before the crowds came out to see the stunning foliage. If you want to have the park as much to yourselves as possible, consider planning closer to sunrise or sunset. Acadia is the busiest in the late mornings and early afternoons.
I had a fantastic time chatting with these two about everything from how they met to One Tree Hill (Lauren's from North Carolina, where the show was filmed). I'm a huge One Tree Hill fan and actually traveled to North Carolina to photograph a friend who kindly took me to see filming locations a few years ago. So it was fun talking to Meggan about those places!
It felt like our session flew by, and I wish I had been able to spend more time with them!
