In April, we headed north to photograph Tiffany and Mark's maternity photos in Millinocket, Maine. Way back in January, Tiffany and Mark kicked off 2021 by getting married. It had been a mild winter so far, so we made plans to take their wedding portraits at the New England Outdoor Center with Mount Katahdin in the background. Well... Mother Nature had other plans. We got hit with the first big storm of the year. It was so snowy that we couldn't see the mountain at all!
Fast forward to spring when Tiffany contacted me about doing their maternity photos. They were expecting their new family member to arrive in May, so we planned a session for April and crossed our fingers that there wouldn't be any freak storms to ruin our view once again. We were in luck! We were given one of the first really nice days of the year. Obviously, it was a peace offering for January, right? We had the property to ourselves, which was so peaceful. We were able to use the mountain and some of the cabins as backdrops without another person in sight!
