Mallary and Dylan's Maine wedding in Aroostook County was my very first wedding that far north.
A lot of awesome things have come into my life because of Target — snacks, books, stress relief from mindlessly wandering the aisles for hours. The best thing, though, is the people. Years ago, I met Dylan at the Target Starbucks. He quickly became one of my favorite baristas due to his chattiness, sense of humor and that enormous grin. Then, as I strolled the aisles with my coffee, I would see Mallary hard at work. I spend so much time at Target that I recognize many of the people who work there, and they recognize me. I've even become friends with some of them.
Spending as much time there as I do, I've often wondered what all those people are like in real life. I became Facebook friends with Dylan and realized that he was in a relationship with Mallary, which made me super excited. I knew them both! When he contacted me about photographing their wedding, I was ecstatic. It meant a lot that they had taken the time to follow our work.
These two are the perfect couple. They have the best personalities and share a sense of humor that is very entertaining to witness. I don't know if I've ever had that much fun photographing a wedding.
Dylan, I still miss seeing you at Target. Mallary, thanks for always sharing the funniest memes on Facebook. I tell Joel constantly that you're the best person to follow. 🙂
