Krystyana & Eric’s Caratunk Maine Wedding

We booked Krystyana and Eric's Caratunk, Maine wedding 14 months before their date. As we exchanged emails back and forth for more than a year, it felt like it would never arrive! After our first conversation, I knew Krystyana would be a delight to work with. When I walked into the getting-ready space at Maine Lakeside Cabins and saw her dancing around with her bridesmaids with the biggest smile, I knew I'd been right about her.

Before the wedding, Krystyana and Eric had scouted the property to find a pretty yet private spot for their first look. The winning location was a walk through the trees to the water, and watching Krystyana walk down the hill toward an excited Eric was beautiful. After the two exchanged some private vows, tears, and laughter, we headed back to the main property for family photos and the ceremony.

Krystyana's brother officiated a wonderfully personal ceremony, where the two made things official with a shot of One Foot Cock (a spiced honey liqueur), a kiss, and a recessional that had guests shooting bubble guns in their direction instead of the typical petal toss.

There were so many things about this wedding that I loved, like the fact that Krystyana literally could not stop twirling in her dress (lots of twirling photos to come), the bubbles that were present throughout the entire day, a Corgi popping up on the dance floor (can this happen at every wedding!?), and Joel, Krystyana, and the bridesmaids all bonding over their love of Yung Gravy. This wedding had one of the best playlists ever!
