The most important, and arguably my favorite detail at Kristy and Cam's wedding at the Bar Harbor Club was Kristy's dad's 1956 Thunderbird. A few years after he died, Kristy decided to restore it. She mentioned the car in almost every email and phone call we exchanged. It was so important to get photos on her wedding day with this special part of him. We even had a rain plan and a mechanic riding along with us as we traveled throughout Acadia National Park, just in case anything went wrong.
Well, the sun was out in full force, and no rain plan was needed. Hooray! I rode behind and in front of them in Kristy's Jeep, hanging out the roof to capture the coastal drive (shout out to their fantastic planner Rachel for driving!). I listened to Kristy's aunt tell stories about her dad buying the car in college, and it sounded like he was quite a guy.
Kristy and Cam, thank you for being so kind and funny and for being up for anything I suggested. Knowing your clients trust you 100 percent is a great feeling, so THANK YOU!
