I spent my birthday with Eliza and Aaron, creating their Kettle Cove engagement photos in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. We couldn't have asked for a better day. The days before had been rainy and cold, but magically, the sun came out the day of our session, and we were blessed with almost 70-degree weather in late October. We were pretty happy about it and trying to soak it up before the temps dropped again in the days following. Nothing beats a warm day in October. The colors are so beautiful, and the warmth feels magnificent. We were so lucky to be on the coast as well! If you've never been to Kettle Cove, I highly recommend it. The sunsets are amazing!
It was a fun beach day for all, and Eliza and Aaron brought along their son (who is adorable! You'll see in a few photos below) and both of their moms to enjoy it (and keep him entertained whenever we'd wander off). We rarely get to meet family members before the big day, so it was really, really lovely.
Eliza and Aaron will be getting married at Hardy Farm this June, and I can't wait to catch up. Fingers crossed for weather just like this!
