Elopement at Pemaquid Point | Josh & Anna

Josh contacted me a few weeks before his and Anna's Maine elopement at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse to see if we were available to photograph it. They had been planning a big wedding in Pennsylvania but decided to call it off and go someplace they'd never been before. They were also looking for something a little more intimate, so they invited only their close family to celebrate. They got to have their daughter as their flower girl, making the day much more special to them.

Pemaquid is one of my favorite lighthouses in Maine, so I jumped at the chance. The cliffs are such a gorgeous backdrop, and with the lighthouse, you literally cannot take a bad photo there.

It was supposed to rain all day, and while we did get sprinkled on a little bit, the rain was kind enough to hold off on the downpour until later that night! However, we did have some lovely dramatic skies to work with—always a good thing.

Here are my favorites from Josh and Anna's elopement. P.S. I'm in love with Anna's stunning red hair.
