Heather’s Bridal Portraits in Acadia National Park

Today I'm sharing Heather's bridal portraits in Acadia National Park. I am so lucky to live close to the Bar Harbor area. It's probably my favorite place in Maine to photograph, so I was really excited to photograph Heather's bridal portraits there. If Heather looks familiar, it's because she was one of our 2014 brides. Last October, we photographed her and Ryan's wedding at French's Point in Stockton Springs. Their wedding was absolutely stunning, and Heather put so much thought into every little detail, including wearing not one but two different fascinators on the day, a white one for the ceremony and cocktail hour and a black one for the reception. She also added a black bow to her wedding dress for the reception, and it was a fabulous to change up her look without having to change her dress.

We started at Otter Point, then made our way to Jordan Pond before finally ending at Cadillac Mountain just in time for a beautiful sunset. The sun lit her so perfectly, acting like a spotlight on more than one occasion. I was thrilled! Heather is a dream to photograph, and I must thank Aaron Hayden for the fabulous hair and makeup!

I can't get over how perfect her wedding dress was for her. It was definitely one of my favorites I've ever photographed!

Here are my favorite photos of Heather in Acadia National Park.
