Last winter Joel and I vacationed in Savannah, Georgia, and Charleston, South Carolina. Clients had told me over and over again that I HAD to go there with my camera, so we finally went. I was so inspired by the South. I immediately came home and reached out to Sarah Goodwin of Daisies & Pearls about collaborating on a Southern-inspired Maine wedding shoot. Sarah was game, and we pulled together an amazing team of creatives. Style Me Pretty featured our shoot on their site yesterday and it was so nice to relive the shoot on such a cold and windy winter day.

Last winter, Joel and I took a vacation to Savannah, Georgia, and Charleston, South Carolina, after hearing countless recommendations from our clients. The South’s charm and beauty truly captivated us, and we returned home brimming with inspiration. Eager to bring a taste of the South to Maine, I reached out to the talented Sarah Goodwin of Daisies & Pearls, and we assembled a fantastic team to collaborate on a Southern-inspired wedding shoot.
The shoot was a wonderful experience. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors, ornate architecture, and timeless elegance we saw in the South, we carefully curated every detail to capture the essence of a Southern wedding in Maine. The floral arrangements and vintage decor blended Southern charm with Maine’s rustic allure, creating a harmonious atmosphere.
We were overjoyed when Style Me Pretty featured our shoot on their website. It was a gratifying moment to share our work with a wider audience, especially on a cold winter day when reliving the shoot’s warmth and beauty brought comfort.
