When they married in Bar Harbor a few years ago, Mallory and Chris came into my life. Joel and I were lucky enough to be the ones chosen to photograph their gorgeous Bar Harbor Club wedding. They live in Georgia, so I assumed we'd never see them again after the wedding. However, a few years later, I heard they were coming to stay at a family home in Deer Isle, Maine. While in Maine, I caught up with them in Stonington for some couples' portraits in 2016. Since then, they have had the cutest baby on the planet, so it was time to catch up again! I spent time with them and baby E. on a beautiful summer day in Deer Isle. Little did I know that a new tradition was starting. I meet with them once every summer to document their family. Since this portrait session, they've added a son to the mix so you can see a more recent one featuring him here.
It's become something I look forward to every year, and I'm already counting down the days until we meet again. I can't wait to see what the kids' personalities have turned into.
