Bristol Maine Summer Portraits

In 2019, we had two opportunities to photograph Shayna and Todd’s wedding celebrations! The first took place in Maine at Shayna’s aunt’s home on the coast, followed by dinner at the 1812 Farm in Bristol. The second took place at The Optimist in Atlanta, Georgia. It was so cool documenting Shayna and Todd in entirely different environments. As wedding photographers, we usually work closely with couples as they prepare. However, on their wedding day, I always find it a bit sad after we deliver their final gallery and only have brief interactions here and there through social media. So I was excited when Shayna and Todd reached out to see if I might be able to fit them in for a summer portrait session in Bristol, Maine, returning to the spot where they initially tied the knot. Getting to photograph them three different times? What a dream! This time, however, I was introduced to their new son in a place that will surely be as special to him as it is to Shayna and Todd.
