When Ariel and Marc started planning their Boothbay Harbor, Maine wedding at Linekin Bay Resort, they definitely weren’t expecting a global pandemic to hit. However, like all of our 2020 couples, they tweaked their plans, cut the guest list to 25 of their favorite people, made sure everyone got tested prior to attending the wedding, and loaded up on hand sanitizer and cute face masks bearing the words “spread love, not germs.” They rolled with it, and guess what? It ended up being a fantastic day. They chose to focus on the positives that came from having to scale back their wedding, like the fact that they could relax and genuinely spend time with every single person at their wedding. Another huge perk? They were able to make the spontaneous decision to go for a first sail instead of doing a traditional first look because they weren’t bound by a tight schedule that a bigger wedding would’ve required. I definitely did a little dance when they let me in on the idea. Sailboat photos? Yes, please!
Marc and Ariel’s wedding was our last wedding in 2020, and it was such a wonderful way to end a very tricky year. We were even given a rainbow! I can’t think of a better way to end a season than that!
On to the photos!
