I'm super excited to share Amy and Will's Sand Beach Acadia elopement on the blog today! After chatting back and forth with Amy for a few months, I couldn't wait to meet these self-proclaimed nerds-- especially when they asked if we'd be up for hiking with them after the ceremony for a celebratory beer (shoutout to Maine Beer Co.). Hiking and beer!? Count us in!
Joel and I are major hiking fans and try to get out for an afternoon of hiking as much as possible during our weekends off from weddings. Sometimes, we're lucky enough to photograph in a place with great nearby trails we can do the day after a wedding. But getting to hike while also photographing a couple? That's the ultimate win for us. We're down if you're thinking about hiking on your wedding day!
We don't get to spend much time with our couples eloping in Maine, but these two packed in many meaningful moments during our short time together. A couple of my favorites included Amy's first look with her mom, who hadn't been able to go dress shopping with her, and the actual hike, which took place just minutes after these two promised to keep on adventuring together.
Here are our favorites from Amy and Will's Sand Beach Acadia elopement!
