Fate definitely paved the way to Nicole and Colin's Maine wedding at Granite Ridge Estate & Barn in Norway. After photographing their engagement photos in Portland, I couldn't wait to spend more time with them.
Nicole and Colin dated as teenagers, but the relationship ended, and they went off to experience college and a few other adventures. Neither of them realized that their paths would cross again. Years later, while hanging out with friends, they were reunited. Colin asked Nicole to get a drink after. It's a pretty adorable story. According to Nicole, it didn't seem like Colin wanted the night to end.
Nicole told the story as she was getting ready on her wedding day, and my favorite part was when she said that it was funny because she'd always thought of Colin as the one that got away. We're all pretty glad that he didn't get away for too long!
Nicole and Colin were tying this knot during their ceremony, so Nicole got some practice in while her makeup was applied. After the ceremony, Nicole and Colin took a few minutes to spend alone together. Nicole and Colin, we're so glad you found your way back to each other. Thanks for having us!
