Today, I’m sharing photos from Sam and Katie’s 1812 Farm wedding in Bristol, Maine. Sam and Katie are one of those couples that make your heart ache after the wedding is over and the photos have been delivered. I can’t describe how wonderful it was to work with them. When they first booked me, they told me that their song was a Sara Bareilles song, so I knew I liked them instantly. Over the year leading up to their wedding, I so looked forward to emails from Katie because she’s so warm and funny and was so darn excited. She also commented/still comments on so many photos we’ve done of other couples with so much enthusiasm that I have a smile on my face for hours.
I was so excited to meet them in person FINALLY. Katie was so nervous and excited that she even asked if she could help us so that she could keep busy. Once Sam arrived to get ready, Katie was instantly calmed by her presence. It doesn’t hurt that Sam has the most infectious smile. Seeing how these two love each other and how much Sam means to Katie’s two daughters was beautiful. I have so much love for this little family!
