A while back, Meggan and Lauren’s engagement session was featured on Rustic Weddings! I love this engagement session so much, and I’m thrilled that Rustic Weddings wanted to feature it.
You can’t beat fall in Acadia National Park. A cool breeze is coming off the ocean, the leaves have turned, and the colorful foliage is on full display. Toward the end of October, it becomes less busy with tourists. It’s the perfect time to visit and do a bit of hiking.
I feel so lucky that my work brings me to such a beautiful location so often. I’ve lost track of the number of times I’ve been to Acadia National Park, whether to photograph elopements, wedding portraits, or engagement sessions. I’ve even photographed several senior portrait sessions in the park. And while I’m there so regularly, I never feel bored. There are so many locations to visit that it feels like I’m experiencing the park for the first time every time I’m there. Some days I head to the sandy beach. On other days, I go to wooded trails or cliffs. There’s always something new to discover.
Back to Meggan and Lauren! The happiness these two feel around each other and express is precisely why I became a photographer. There was minimal posing involved here because these two were completely natural.
