Melissa & Dan’s Intimate Northport Maine Wedding

So excited to share Melissa and Dan's intimate Northport, Maine wedding today. I love small weddings, especially when they're in a tinycoastal Maine town in October. They allow so much time for everyone to enjoy each other. Everything is laid-back, and with a small group, there's no real pressure to start the ceremony at a specific time. There's always a cozy candlelit dinner where everybody can join in the conversation and not stress about getting around to talk to everyone. It's so refreshing!

When I first chatted with Melissa and Dan, they explained that they'd never really been photo people. They didn't have any photos together. However, they both agreed that their wedding day was a fantastic excuse to get some. They warned me that they might be awkward, but these two were so naturally happy that they made my job easy.

My favorite part of the day was watching Melissa in her dress. She kept twirling around, radiating pure joy. She yelled to Dan, "this is so unlike me!" He responded, "I know, but it's so great!" And my heart grew three sizes.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be one of the lucky few witnesses, Dan and Melissa!
