Jerette and Tom decided to elope at Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park. Neither had ever been to Acadia National Park before, so it immediately came to mind when they were planning their elopement. These two are incredibly busy working as doctors, so they wanted something simple, relaxing, and beautiful for their wedding day. It doesn't get better than spending an evening in Acadia National Park, so they immediately knew that that was the spot.
We planned to visit Seal Harbor Beach, Jordan Pond, Sand Beach, Otter Point, and Cadillac Mountain so they could experience a lot of the park together on their wedding day. Their first time in Acadia needed to be extra special; even though they had arrived a few days earlier, they avoided the park until it was time to get married. How cool is that? It made their wedding day even better. Tom even held off on having his lobster dinner until they were newlyweds! But, of course, being newly married makes it taste that much better.
Tom and Jerette, thank you so much for allowing us to be such a big part of your wedding day! Not only did we get to photograph this beautiful couple, but we also got to be their two witnesses as well! It's so special to be able to do that for our couples.
Here are some favorite images from the day!
