Back in October, I got to photograph a lovely, styled October wedding at Granite Ridge Estate & Barn in Norway, Maine. They had just added their amazing barn! I photographed the owner, Jill's, wedding before the barn was built, so I couldn't wait to see the newest addition. It's the perfect location for those looking for rustic charm and gorgeous views on their wedding day.
I think a lot of people think of the Maine coast when it comes to planning a Maine destination wedding, but the state has so much more to offer! Western Maine is one of my absolute favorite locations to photograph in. You just can't beat those mountain views.
Lucky for me, I get to photograph two weddings at Granite Ridge in 2015. I'll be starting my wedding season there in June and returning again in September. Woohoo!
Before we dive into my favorite photos from the shoot, I have to give a big shoutout to the vendor team for this shoot. Jill and Melanie at Granite Ridge planned the entire thing in a pretty short amount of time, our amazing models were up for anything, Littlefield's Flowers were the perfect October pops of color, Affordable Events provided chairs and so much more, El's Cards provided her amazing talent on name cards, menus, and all our other paper goods, and Jennicakes Bake Shop delivered the most adorable mini apple, pecan, and pumpkin pies. My October-loving heart was giddy the entire day!
