Tarry A While Resort Wedding in Bridgton Maine | Erica & David

Erica and David's wedding at Tarry A While Resort in Bridgton, Maine, was full of many sweet moments. Listing them all would make for a long blog post, so I'll mention a few of my favorites. There are photos below that accompany these moments, too.
The first moment was during Erica and David's first look. We had moved on to do a few portraits, and I asked them to look at each other. David stared at Erica for a long moment, sighed, and asked me if we could pause for a second because he wanted to take a photo of his beautiful bride. It was so adorable, and I was happy to oblige.

My second favorite moment happened during the ketubah signing ceremony. Erica and David's rabbi asked them to step aside privately with their parents to receive some final advice before signing. Erica's father teared up as he spoke, which caused Erica and her mother to cry. Seeing that caused me to tear up as well!

My next favorite moment happened during the ceremony. Erica and David were asked to bring an object that held special meaning in their relationship. David is lactose intolerant, and on one of their early dates, Erica brought him some coconut milk ice cream. After it was finished, she tossed the container in the trash. David, feeling sentimental, pulled the container out of the garbage because he was impressed with Erica's thoughtfulness. The fact that David had saved the container showed Erica a lovely side of him, so she chose the container for her item. After she told David why she had decided on that item, David laughed and told their guests that he had gone to get the container from the cupboard to be his item, but because Erica left for the wedding before he did, she had beat him to it. If that doesn't prove that these two are soulmates, I don't know what does.
