Melissa and Ryan's Bar Harbor, Maine engagement photos were planned to take place during peak Maine foliage season in Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Ryan proposed to Melissa in front of the Bar Harbor Inn, so they knew they wanted that area to be the backdrop for their engagement photos while visiting from New Hampshire. Melissa contacted me a few weeks before their trip, and I was so excited! I love Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park; shooting there in the fall is incredible.
It was an overcast day with a slight chill, giving us the perfect fall day to work with. It felt like we had Acadia to ourselves, which is rare this time of year. Acadia is probably the number one spot leaf peepers seek out in Maine, so we were lucky.
After starting outside the Inn, we boarded the Margaret Todd for a few photos. It was so kind of them to let us aboard while they were docked in the harbor. Then, we headed to Sand Beach in the park to grab some photos under one of Acadia's classic bridges.
