Chris and Lindsey's Bar Harbor Club Maine wedding unfolded on an absolutely perfect day. Despite lingering rain threats for a few days, even sprinkling as Joel and I journeyed to the coast, the skies progressively cleared as we approached. My confidence grew that we would be blessed with beautiful light. While many yearn for sunshine on their wedding day, overcast days present soft, diffused light that is exceptionally flattering. Additionally, it allows for versatile photography, eliminating squinting and harsh shadows. So, when it comes to wedding day weather, you can't go wrong, and, as the saying goes, a little rain on your wedding day is believed to bring good luck. Lindsey and Chris experienced just enough rain to sprinkle a touch of luck before it cleared. Interestingly, we encountered very similar weather during their engagement photos in Acadia National Park – a rare occurrence!
Being part of these two tying the knot was genuinely special. Lindsey was completing school in Maine, while Chris was doing the same in Virginia, all while planning their wedding. In the months leading up to the big day, I came across posts expressing how much they missed each other and counting down the days until their reunion. This made their wedding day even more heartwarming when it finally arrived.
Here are some cherished moments from their delightful Bar Harbor Club Maine wedding celebration.
Congratulations, Lindsey and Chris!!!
